 Summary

Due to a change in Iowa’s gun permit laws in 2011, people who have visual disabilities are now legally able to obtain a gun permit and carry a concealed firearm.  While Disability Rights Iowa and The National Federation of the Blind strongly support the law change, state police are worried about potential fatalities.
